The MagDrone R3 is an ultra lightweight magnetometer with 2 three-axis Fluxgates that one can attach underneath a drone with a payload of +1kg such as the DJI M300
Its detachable sensor tube provides a sensor spacing of 25cm or 50cm with a 2.5m scan width.
With a sample rate of 200 Hz, the R3 can easily make noise out of infrastructure,
filter out mains frequencies or UAV engines.
One can install the magentometer directly on the drone's landing gear for a very compact setup.
The MagDrone R3 can be used for such things as magnetic mapping, mine exploration, scanning areas for bombs and munitions (UXO), preventive control and surveillance of areas.
The MagDrone-Data Tool identifies routes flown, filters, offsets raw data, generates a sample and can export to different formats to further process the data, e.g. with the MAGNETO® software.
